Dimanakah Anda Wahai Pemimpin?

Alhamdulillah.

Saban hari ku menanti,
Munculnya ia tidak ku pasti,
Diriku masih mencari,
Apakah ia hanya mimpi?

Dunia yang penuh dengan pancaroba.
Dunia saya, dunia anda.
Destinasi kita sama.
Biarpun perjalanan kita berbeza.
Kita berpandukan dengan cara yang sama.

Terpulang ke atas diri kita.
Apakah kita hendak menghayatinya.
Ataupun.
Jauh tergolong dikalangan mereka yang memaling daripadanya.

Siapakah kita?
Kenal entah tidak.
Segelintir sahaja yang berkemahuan.
Berusaha mencari asal usulnya.
Mengingati.
Tidak melupainya tatkala ujian mendatang.

Datangnya ia.
Nikmat tidak tertadah tangan.
Dijadikannya, penggelap hati.
Hilang entah ke mana.
Laluan yang lurus ke arahNya.

Sia-sia sudah.
Ke manakah mereka pergi?
Menjadi tunjang yang tidak berisi.
Akar hanya menurut.
Daun-daun luruh ditiup angin.
Kami menuruti.
Mata dikaburi.

Wahai mereka yang berkuasa!
Salah caturan kami merana.
Maruah agama terkena.

Kalian sedarkah?
Keadaan anak-anak yang tak kemana.
Tujuan tiada.
Hilang akal dibawa dunia.

Sedarkah kalian?
Tanggungjawab bukan permainan.
Amanah jangan digadai.

Membentuk pemuda, menjadi keutamaan.
Kenali Allah, kenali agama.
Kami merayu! Kami merintih!

Sedarkah kalian?
Kami sudah terkandas.
Sedarkah kalian?
Senang di atas.
Pasti susah dikemudian hari.

Di manakah? Konsep Islam yang ditunggu oleh kami? Mengapa liberal menjadi pilihan?

The Two Languages

InsyaAllah.

Keep moving

It's a term I describe to myself. Things that happened, is something need to be accepted. Face it, and learn from it. I always say to myself, no matter what happened, I need to let it go, and move Don't live in the past, or else, I will be torturing myself over something that I wasn't suppose to live in. How easy I'm saying it to myself. It is pretty hard when it comes to actually doing it.

Memories is not something you can choose selectively. You can't erase those painful things that happened in your life. There is a reason, why it happened like that in the past. And there is a reason why we can't forget about it. If me, I will say. It's a lesson for me. There are many mistakes I have done before. I can't reverse the time, or change it to make my past perfect. My Ustaz once told me. Those things that happened to you, is a warning from Allah. Whether it's a good thing or bad thing. Remember, He is testing us. Remember, our life is short. Remember, have we done what we suppose to do. Remember, are we living in this world and make Him as our first priority.

Here, in this world. It happens, that every humankind is living in the same world. Facing the same direction. Having the same intention, purpose living in this world. It's up to the individuals, to realize these things.

But how do we keep moving on when we can't get through it? October 2009, last year. I lost a friend. A cousin to be precise. He past away in an accident, in front of his house. He was 13 back then. I can still remember his last words to me. He called me, two days before. He said, "I  love you." His voice, it keeps repeating inside my head every other time. I didn't expect him to end that way. Why, a young find boy, end up that night, like that, in a flick of seconds. I guess, that's how Allah wants to show to us. As a reminder to us. When it comes to death, age is nothing. I cried a lot that time. I can still remember, every bits of his last days with me until the time he is buried. How sad I was, I can feel like I'm dying. Losing hope and feel that I'm going to die anytime soon. I miss him every second of my life. Listening to the song Juwita by Saleem, reminds me of him a lot. He sang that song, a lot during the few weeks before his death. I teach myself, that time, to move on. Learn from it. There's nothing else you can do.

4 month later. Early 2010, February. I lost another special person in my life. She was my grandmother. She has been living with my family since 2006. And has been living with my aunt since the year 2000, who was not living far from our home. I see her everyday. I talked to her everyday. I kiss her everyday. I hug her, eat with her, everyday. I can still remember her laughter, how she scolds me, how she smile. I sure miss her cooking. Early 2009, she had a kidney failure. She had to go for dialysis for 2 times every week. From there, she started to lose weight. Wheelchair bounded. She became very skinny. Her smell, I can still smell it in her rooms. I was at Mekkah when she passed away. I didn't have the chance to say to her goodbye. The last time was, before I departed for Umrah, with my parents and siblings. I can still remember that very moment. When my father received a call from my aunt. We are about to leave the hotel for Tawaf Wada'. The very last tawaf before we leave Mekkah. Once the news was passed to me and my siblings. I tried to control myself. But I failed. Tears, everywhere, all the time. During the Zohor prayer. In front of the Ka'bah. I cried a lot. Praying. A very challenging test from him. I tried to calm myself. How can my younger siblings stop crying if I didn't stop.

We went straight to her grave after we reached KLIA. I was in my white Jubah. I can't stop crying. I just, can't. I become more sad, to see my grandfather, who is also wheelchair bounded. Lost his soul mate. He can't stop crying. His eyes were red. I can't imagine, how much worse he feels at that time.

I miss them both. How I wish, I can turn back the clock. But I can't. It takes quite a while. For me, an ordinary human to let go, and keep on living. I can still feel it now. Every other night, crying. It's hard to live in a place that brings a lot of memories of two of them.

let bygone be bygone

I guess, that was the time, I have to apply this concept. I still have days ahead of me. These are events in life that everyone will face. I've only lost two in span of 4 month. How did the kids in Palestine, get through it. When they lost their family in a single blast. I can't imagine how they feel. Allah given them the patience of a mother. Facing death threats everyday. They can die with a single pull of trigger aimed at them. Subahanallah.

All I need to believe in, is Allah. He knows what best for us. He knows what He's doing. And today, Alhamdulillah. Healthy, given a chance to redeem myself. I can do better than before. Both of the events, thought me a lot. It is up to me. To learn from it or not. To change and be a better person. I've hurt a lot of people. Their feelings. How I wish, I can sorry, It's my fault, and what can I do to make things right. If I were given a chance, the guts, I will do it. I don't want to lie to myself anymore. No, not again. Please be truthful with me. If I have done something wrong, please tell me. I'm blind to see what's beyond people's heart. What's in their thought. I can say no more.

I'll be 16 in a month. I hope, by that time, I can be better than before. InsyaAllah

Live

Living in this world is somewhat tougher than how I used to think. Wealth, sometimes cannot be the medium to make your life easier. Come to think, striving every minute to prevent from lost, stray from the right path, is not easy as it sounds. Changing the state of my mind. Looking forward is not enough. You have to take path, learn from it, and hoping not to repeat the same mistakes, all over again.

But who am I to avoid from mistakes? Humans are prone to them, whether they realize or not. Despite being told, scold, advised many times, but still, the answer remain the same and will hardly change for years to come. But, that doesn't mean we cannot change. We can change if we have the will to change, istiqamah with our change, and face what to come without changing back to the original state.

The change should come within us, first, before we change others. We can, InsyaAllah, change for the good of our Ummah, our family, religion, and country.
